About Provocateur
Provocateur is a sensorial experience that chronicles the life story of Alexander McQueen through the creative vision of documentary film director, Rick Lazes, alongside Alexander McQueen’s nephew and artistic collaborator, Gary James McQueen. Guests are invited to wander through a series of 11 curated rooms at their own pace and sequence. Each room is thoughtfully designed and enhanced through cutting-edge visual technology to depict periods and pivotal moments in the provocative life of the late Lee Alexander McQueen.
As visitors pass through each interactive space, they are immersed in McQueen’s early life and training, his ascent into fashion through his unwavering singular vision, and the ethereal masterpieces and seminal runway shows that McQueen created throughout his career, spanning nearly two decades.
